University of Granada has organized a seminar called "Debates
independentistas recientes en Quebec, Países Bajos, Cataluña y Escocia: una perspectiva económica".
This seminar will be teaching by
François Vaillancourt, who is a great teacher from University of Montreal. The summary about this seminar is really interesting:
"Secessionist
movements are common in the world and have led to the splitting of countries in the past both in Western Europe (Norway-Sweden; Czech-Slovakia) and elsewhere (Ethiopia-Eritrea; Sudan-South Sudan). In this political economy presentation we examine the role that various drivers play in four drives to secede: Catalonia, Flanders ,Québec and Scotland. We then present
economic work done for Québec on impacts on capital markets, GDP and migration."
If you are interested in this subjects our advice is that you will be great if you could assist on 21rst, Thursday at 12,30h in room E06 in Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales from UGR.
We hope this information would be of your interests and enjoy with François Vaillancourt and with his knowledge.
